Universal Razor Travel Case
A few weeks ago, one of you requested a universal razor case that can fit a 4" handle. I've been thinking it over since then and today I modeled up the first concept razor box that can fit a wide variety of sizes.
This box fits the 4 razors I have on hand and will also fit many others. The razors I am testing with are the:
Henson AL13
Rockwell 6S
Merkur 23C
Merkur 34C
The sizes this will accommodate are:
Handle Length: Up to 4.00" (101mm)
Handle Diameter: Up to 0.56" (14.2mm)
Razor Head Length: Up to 1.75" (44.4mm)
Razor Head Width: Up to 1.00" (25.4mm)
Razor Head Thickness: Up to 0.51" (12.9mm)
The razor stays assembled in this design unlike my two other travel case designs where the razor is disassembled. I made this design choice to allow for 2 and 3 piece razors to fit in the same box.
This case also has a spot for two blade boxes - up to and including the 10-pack plastic feather cases. This allows for travel with your razor and up to 20 blades!
This travel case with be offered in the same colors, black, white, olive, and red, and with personalized options just like the Henson and Rockwell Cases. I'm excited to finish this design, look for a listing within the next couple of weeks!
